We exist to ensure that Collier County has access to world-class library resources — today and for generations to come.
Why We Exist
"To champion, strengthen, and expand Collier County Public Library by securing and stewarding private investment and civic support."
The Public Library Foundation of Collier County is led by a group of passionate community leaders who believe that a strong public library system is the cornerstone of a healthy, thriving community both today and for generations to come. With your help, we are building a foundation to raise the significant support level that is needed for programs, technology, resources, and capacity that the county budget alone cannot provide.
Yet public funding alone cannot keep pace with the demand for innovative programs, updated technology, and expanded services. That is where the Foundation steps in — bridging the gap between what government can provide and what our community deserves.
